What should I do?

At a Crossroads

When I was a freshman in college, I was at a crossroads. I didn't really know who I was, and I didn't know which direction to pursue. I wanted to be a Christian-rapping, preaching, author, comedian (informally), and with business skills like Donald Trump. Who was I? I don't even know. That's like a blind person wanting to change his race and become a pilot. He shouldn't do it. I'm glad I didn't.

Fortunately, as time has progressed God has slowly and consistently led me to His plan for me. Honestly, He still reveals new things periodically. It's pretty exciting knowing what I've been called to and having the passion to accomplish it with excellence. What have you been called to?

Ask Your Maker What You're Made For

Are you worried about what your calling is? Are you wondering what to do next in life? Are you confused about who you are? Well, before you reflect on where God is guiding you, think about this.

We aren't ready to do what He wants us to do, until we are ready to ask Him, "What should I do?" Until we are able to ask Him this question, we are our own god. What??? Yes, that's right. God does not come to us to ask what we would like to accomplish for Him. Instead, we go ask Him what we are to accomplish for Him. Ask your maker what you're made for. He has great plans for you (Jeremiah 29:11) and some of them He might be waiting for the right time to reveal to you (Acts 26:16).

This is a difficult pill to swallow for all of us. Anyone tempted to say that they have it all together is facing an issue themselves - pride. Remember today that we all make mistakes. Just get back up and simply ask God, "What should I do?" and do it.
