Don't confuse God's meekness with weakness. Meekness is about being gentle, loving, and kind. Weakness is about lacking strength.
God is characterized by meekness, but definitely not weakness.
Sometimes I think that we get confused because all of the paintings we see of Jesus depict Him doing "friendly" things. Don't get me wrong, my guess would be that Jesus was the friendliest person that we would ever meet. But that is just half of the story. I would also guess that He was the most powerful person we would ever meet.
In Acts, soon after Jesus left, the Holy Spirit came. We were promised to receive power after the Holy Spirit came upon us (Acts 1:8). The Greek word for power is "dunamis." This word basically means "strength, power, and ability." The interesting thing is the fact that we eventually derived the word dynamite from this Greek word. Now, dynamite is powerful, but if you think about it dynamite wasn't developed until recently. The Holy Spirit came about 2000 years ago. So, dynamite was named after the power of the Holy Spirit not the opposite.
If you have a question, ask Him. If you have a concern, voice it. If you are frustrated, let Him know (because He already does - but He sure would like to talk with you about it). Remember today that God is more powerful than you and He is more powerful than me.
